Megastar Chiranjeevi, famous for his fun and quirky roles, is teaming up with director Srikanth Odela, the filmmaker behind Dasara. Since the movie was officially announced, there’s been a lot of excitement about it. The film will be a gangster drama, and Chiranjeevi will play a completely different role. Odela has confirmed that the movie won’t have any songs or heroines.
There’s buzz that Chiranjeevi has asked for a huge fee for this project. According to Siasat, reports suggest he’s set to earn Rs. 75 crores for the film, which would make it his highest paycheck ever. It’s also said that Chiranjeevi has already received a large portion of his payment before the shoot even started.
Fans have been eager to see Chiranjeevi in roles that suit his age, and this action-packed thriller, set in the 90s, is expected to bring back the charm they’ve been missing. The film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri, with music by Anirudh Ravichander, who is known for his powerful, energetic scores.
This is a big opportunity for Srikanth Odela as he is working with the megastar on his third film. In an interview with Hyderabad Times, the director shared how he managed to bring Chiranjeevi on board and how everything was finalized in just 48 hours. Odela said, “I’m a fan until Chiranjeevi garu steps out of his caravan. Once he does, he becomes a character in my film. I grew up watching his movies, and I still can’t believe I’m working with him. We finished the script in just 48 hours.”
Srikanth Odela is also working on a project with ‘Natural Star’ Nani called The Paradise. After their successful collaboration on Dasara, Nani will be presenting this new film with Chiranjeevi and Odela.
