Sonu Sood’s directorial debut Fateh has exceeded all expectations at the box office, raking in a total of ₹16.25 crore in just seven days. This marks Sonu Sood’s first time directing a film. Among actors-turned-directors in 2024, Kunal Kemmu and Randeep Hooda also ventured into direction. Kemmu’s Madgaon Express earned ₹13.83 crore in its first week, while Hooda’s Swantantrya Veer Savarkar made ₹11.37 crore in its opening week. In just seven days, Fateh has already outpaced the first-week earnings of both these films.
On Day 7, Thursday, January 16, Fateh collected ₹1.02 crore, a 26% dip from the previous day’s ₹1.38 crore. It’s expected that the film will cross ₹4 crore over the second weekend.
