The massive success of the Pushpa sequel was largely driven by the popularity of Allu Arjun’s character, which created a frenzy among fans. The film’s remarkable performance was bolstered by the strong support from Hindi-speaking audiences, who contributed significantly to its overseas success. While the Telugu version had an impressive opening, it lost some steam after the initial wave. However, the Hindi-dubbed version continued to perform well, showing remarkable staying power.
As per the latest box-office update, Pushpa 2 has concluded its run in Saudi Arabia with impressive numbers. The film recorded 57,580 admissions and earned $639K (approximately 5.53 crores INR), making it the biggest Tollywood hit in the region.
The film also wrapped up its run in Malaysia, where it earned 2.68 million Malaysian ringgit (around 5.15 crores INR). In Singapore, Pushpa 2 grossed S$687K (approximately 4.36 crores INR) before completing its theatrical release.
In total, the film has raked in over 290 crore INR in overseas markets. Worldwide, its gross earnings have crossed 1775 crore INR, although it is expected to fall just short of the 1800 crore mark, meaning it won’t surpass Baahubali 2‘s record. Nonetheless, it is on track to achieve that milestone in its continued run.
