The black-colored cars emit the impression of a luxurious and sophisticated feeling. In order to meet the demand many car manufacturers now offer “Black Edition” versions of their vehicles. They typically come with black exteriors, and dark interiors. MG Comet EV Blackstorm
MG has launched the Blackstorm Edition of its Comet EV, based on the top Exclusive FC model. It costs ₹30,000 more than the regular version. The price is ₹7.8 lakh with the battery-as-a-service option, and ₹9.81 lakh without it (ex-showroom).

This edition features:
- A full black exterior with red accents on the wheels, bonnet, fog lamps, and body
- Blackstorm badges on the side
- Inside, the seats are black with Blackstorm branding
The battery and features are the same as the regular Comet EV, with a 17.3 kWh battery offering a claimed range of 230 km.
Hyundai Exter Knight Edition

The Exter Knight Edition was introduced in July of 2024. Hyundai launched in July 2024 the Exter Knight Edition that gives this compact SUV an aggressive all-black appearance. This model includes:
- Alloy wheels, black badges and skid plates
- Seat and dashboard covers in black
- The brake calipers, grilles the AC vents as well as the seat edges to give it a sporty appearance
It’s only available in the more expensive SX or SX(O) Connect variants. Prices begin with Rs8.46 lakh and rise until Rs10.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Its engine, features and design are exactly the same as in the regular Exter.
Tata Altroz Dark Edition

Tata offers many Dark Edition models, and the Altroz Dark is the most affordable one. It features:
- A completely black exterior and interior
- Black grille, alloy wheels, and black seat covers
- Dark chrome accents and special “Dark” badges
It is available in the XZ Plus S and XZ Plus S Lux variants with petrol and diesel engine options. Prices range from ₹9.50 lakh to ₹11 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai Venue Knight Edition
The Hyundai Venue Knight Edition has an all-black look similar to the Exter Knight, with extra touches like:
- Copper-colored highlights on the grille, steering wheel, and AC vents
- Black seats with copper stitching
This edition is available in the S(O), SX, and SX(O) trims. The top variant also includes a dual-camera dashcam. Engine options include both turbo-petrol and normal petrol. Prices range from ₹10.35 lakh to ₹13.57 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Nexon Dark Edition
The Tata Nexon Dark Edition comes in several versions, such as Creative, Creative Plus, Fearless, and more. It has:
- A black exterior and interior for a strong road presence
- “Dark Edition” badges on the sides
It shares the same features and safety options as the standard Nexon. Prices start at ₹11.70 lakh and go up to ₹15.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
